KOTA KINABALU : Lottery games in gambling-haven Sabah have recorded a sold-out for at least two four-digit numbers that closely resembled the flight code MH370 that went missing enroute to Beijing from Kuala Lumpur early Saturday morning.
The two numbers that sold out yesterday at one of the many lottery operators in Sabah were 0370 and 3700.
At least one regular ticket buyer shared a ticket with such notice and this was picked in facebook accounts soon.
The lottery ticket showed a notice which said that the two four-digit numbers of 0370 and 3700 were already sold out, indicating they were not up for sale anymore for today’s draw.
Some regular buyers of four-digit lottery here also claimed the same numbers were sold-out at other lottery operators too, but hastened to say that there is nothing unusual about it.
“Once in a while we do encounter such occurrences where certain popular numbers would not be able to be bought for certain draws.

“Once in a while we do encounter such occurrences where certain popular numbers would not be able to be bought for certain draws.
“Maybe the operators decided a limit of selling certain numbers, maybe up to a few hundreds tickets only at a draw, otherwise they would face trouble paying thousands tickets of any particular winning combination,” said one regular buyer in Kota Kinabalu.
The Malaysia Airlines (MAS) Boeing 777-200ER meanwhile has been missing without a trace for a third day now.
International aviation experts have been quoted by television stations as saying that it would only be a matter of time now before clear signs of its whereabouts surface.
One expert had said that it would however take months or years to locate the black-box or even the main aircraft.
